Sweet Osmanthus
„Guhua“ is the chinese name for the flower of the osmanthus tree (bot.
Osmanthus fragrans, franz. Olivier odorant or, translated: nicely
fragrant oil tree). The qualities used in tea trade are the stiandards
GH611 and 612. Their green tee basis, also called osmanthus- or Kwai
Flower Tea is only mixed with the above named flowers which give it its
incomparable aroma (slightly peachy). Originally from the province of
Guangxi, there are now many similar 'copies' at highly differing prices
on the world market. The quality imported by us is from Guangxi.
